Manual 575 SA sells for 860,000 euros

Darius- Very nice, even with the standard seats. Actually one of 39, 33 of which were likely LHD. Getting to the point where some shyster may want to do a conversion. Likely built in December 2005.

 

Steamy price! I hope that the new owner will enjoy driving it - lucky chap!

 

I fear, that this car will become a garage queen.

Or was the car already a garage queen until today with less than 10.000 Km ?

I think the very low mileage was one of the drivers for the high price.

 

But, is it worth 10 times my car just because the factory lopped the top off ?......I don't see it....but whatever floats yer boat.
If writing the cheque doesn't hurt, though...go for it......but I doubt the owner will ever get 10 times the pleasure !

Trawling through ebay UK a few days ago.....of the 350 Ferraris for sale, I believe only maybe 3 or 4 were 550/575, which is interesting.
Maybe owners are now hanging on for long-term ownership now.
One thing for sure...they won't be making any more.

 

11 x 575s and 5 x 550s, excluding Barchettas.

 

Thanks, I stand corrected. Must not have been paying enough attention ! Today, it looks like 8 x 550's and 13 575M, plus 1 x for spares or repair at 55K sterling.
I wouldn't fancy polishing the dents out of that one !....a tad over-priced, methinks ?

I knew it would happen. The rest of the configurations will follow. The Marranello is just too good.
