There are quite a few F430 manual conversions I see for sale. What do you think of them? Problems, if any. Preferable conversions companies? Cost premiums? Thanks for thoughts.

There are quite a few threads discussing exactly this so I would recommend looking them up as there as some good bits of wisdom there. To sum up to the best of my recollection:

    1. Preference for most was to find a good example of a well maintained F1 car and do the conversion on your own or with a trusted mechanic with the brand of kit you prefer.
    2. EAG conversions were less preferred due to the drama associated with the company and questionable warranty scenarios
    3. Most completed conversions were not selling at premiums that equaled an F1 plus the cost of the conversion as they once were so there were some deals to be had but lots were still asking for more.
    4. Be wary of dealers/previous owners that did the conversion strictly for a flip as they use to fetch a premium but testing/quality of the install might have been rushed or lacking.
    5. Like every other car, documentation, service records, and previous owner's involvement are paramount along with a trusted source for a PPI.
    6. Most on this board prefer/installed the Dr. S kit (Cambio Manual) but Modena Lucerna is also becoming a popular choice. Without advocating for either, I will say there tends to be lots of noise on the boards when comparing the two but neither have shown any faults or negative experiences on the board. I'm certainly happy with my Dr. S version.

I'm sure others can chime in if I left anything out.
