I suggest you do some editing here. I do not have a product and i do not sell kits. The point is what MWSTEWART says in post 223. Im not getting involved in this ongoing debate either but maybe you should do some homework to see who is selling what

 

How much do the other suppliers charge? What are the names of the companies?

So ill clear that up. That was 4 months ago and i was helping a new supplier coming to the market just as i helped Vantage007 in post 30. If you cant figure out in this thread who the new players are then i dont know what to say unless you just wanna stir things up. But either way im not selling kits. You will know it if i do but not likely to happen

How so? cap6 fails to be transparent with his involvement with EAG. I believe being transparent with who you are in a thread like this is very important.
I've asked the question many times. His 43 of his 45 post is on this thread. He's dodge questions with a question and arrogantly post non relevant basic cnc tech info and pics defending the EAG piece.

I have no dog in the fight. I have no interest in a conversion as of now but I think members should know where people are coming from with their motives.

...and yes. Art is a convicted felon. He's been banned for promoting his business here with out permission. He's f*cked members here. I believe one of the member is on this thread. If memory serves me right, he threaten Art with a law suit at one point.

This all is relevant tt. I understand your positive bias with EAG but you should understand his history as well ....along with mystery members who pop up showing support for EAG.

 

Art is free to post here, Rob cleared this up a cple weeks ago.

CaptainSix did his research and he is in the market for a conversion. how did i find this out, simple i DMed him.

I have no issue with Art's past, and hundreds of other SATISFIED customers feel the same way. And for the people here who were "****ed over", there are 3 sides to every story.

But if all you can revert with is, Art is a felon, well what else is there to say?

 

You can support who you want. It's obvious you don't care that EAG is what it is due to screwing people out of their money and their vehicles???
cap6 opened this door of scrutiny. My original post just added my .02 on the comparison of the 2 parts. Then, he acted like a troll.....still is.

Good luck with what? I have 2 conversions currently (scud and 430) have had 2 friends get conversions, and a cs and 575 being converted as we speak. No luck needed.

The beginning of this thread was so promising…

From what I deduce from this and other threads is that Lorenzo should be given credit for pioneering gated f430 conversion, art/Eag should be recognized for scaling it successfully, and that there are new players to the market, one of whom improved on the turret reproduction, and, big plus, is avail for purchase for self install.

I don’t know why there is so much resistance for folks to accept this.

captainsix posts are clearly fishy. He joined in 2022, all of his posts are re: manual conversion, almost all of them in this thread, and all responses are in tireless defense of the EAG design rationale and fabrication process. If he was a potential customer (like I may be, maybe gated CS!), I would think he would be more open/excited about other options on the market.

Back to the main topic: my oem gated 430 operates perfectly when warm, but has issues with 2nd gear grind when cold. I’ve read this is not an issue with the conversions. Is this attributable to any of the new fabricated parts?
