Maybe Golf R. The latest R32 is the Mk5 (2005) which is not turbocharged, NA V6 very hard to get power out of it, 250HP. The newer Rs are turbocharged, easily tuned, getting 350HP out of them not a difficult task. I played with R's and GTI's when I was younger... Until things start breaking, they are great. I don't like the new models, they all look like an Iron.
Really late to the game here but I would check out the Modena-Lucerna kit. That's what I did in my 360 and it's been solid! I talked with the guy and literally it's either factory or better on all of their kit meaning if they didn't do it exactly like the factory did then they only changed it to solve a common point of failure. Probably too late here to help but might be worth looking into if you haven't yet.
