Manufacture is a verb. An organization that manufactures something is a manufacturer.

Yet in articles I see things like 'Rolex is a quality manufacture.' Or 'When he wanders about the manufacture.....'

Is this word usage a translation to English glitch or ?

So it is! But...that doesn't address the funny usage, does it? Diagramming sentences, etc., was never a strong subject for me............

    When all else fails.......Wikepedia:

"In the Swiss watch industry the term manufacture is used of a factory in which watches are manufactured almost completely, as distinct from an atelier de terminage, which is concerned only with assembling, timing, fitting the hands and casing.[1]"
