    Recently my 1999 Ferrari 550M has been running hot with excessive consumption of coolant. My mechanic suspected a radiator or hose leak. It's in the Ferrari authorized workshop and is undergloing a full top overhaul since gaskets are suspect as well as replacement of all hoses and flushing and service of the cooling system. Hope there are no nasty surprises. I have had the car for the past 7 years and this is the first time I've had problems with it.

    Have them do cylinder leakdowns while the heads are off.

    Look at the SRI Silicon Hoses. Wish I had done that.

    Did my silicone hose upgrade last month. Now runs like a champ at Phoenix grade summers.

    Does anyone know where I can get the replacement for the decals and stickers in the engine bay of the 550? Some of them are so faded that you can't even see what they are.
