Robin, it's a trip to Maranello in Egham to see their workshops, get car waxed etc. The Maranello sales day is 8 & 9 May.
Well Guys, our Host at Marenellos "Phillip" has confirmed that 9-9.30am on the 15th May will be ok for the meeting at Egham, Pls dont forget this is at the Service Centre and not the Showroom. I thought we could all wizz around to the Showroom after for a look at whats on offer.... Phillip has organised Tea/Coffee and even the promise of some Bacon Rolls...What a nice guy!!!! Our resident Fchat Photographer can get the group pic of us and all the cars outside I hoped??? What do you say Ric?? maybe a few more picture postcards can be developed from this lot!!! Joe p.s I like the Porsche.....But I love a Ferrari..........
Now Now ... all this cookie talk has stimulated the saliva glands and stopped the rational thinking Actually the M visit I was talking about on the other thread is for this weekend (8th) and it was in their St Albans showroom. The 15 th is not my do ! Also on the catering department I would gladly bring some cookies (just checked the spelling and it is correct !) but not of my own manufacture for everyones sake. I will definitely be there however, ready for a polish .. for the car. cheers philip
Map can be found on their web site at this link... http://www.maranellosales.com/ferrari/service_centre/location.asp
Joe Would love to do it but taking the Fcar down to St Ives, Cornwall for a blast and a long weekend Chris
Anyone driving from central london that needs a passenger?!??? Would pay towards petrol PM me or post Much appreciated. Cheers Rico
Tony Too late to join in? That is assuming of course that the car is running. Been so busy lately that i've not driven it for two weeks and the alarm has killed the battery. Obviously the location of the battery in a ferrari was an after thought!
Would love to come, but I'm working that morning, and even if I could get out of that, I would have to be at home on Kitchen rebuilding detail. Ahh, such are the constraints placed upon a loving husband........ Must be time to arrange another meet....... Have fun lads.
Sounds like a good idea Steve.. Is anyone meeting at Clacketts first to convoy to Maranellos (my favourite part of the meets - ohhhhh the sounds!!)? Congregate quickly between 8:15-8:30, and head straight off?? If not, no doubt I'll race, er i mean see, a few of you on the M25... Ade
I tend to bring one of my kids if that helps - can't say whether it will be my 14 year old daughter, 12 year old or 8 year old son
No need - it still has space under the bonnet for plenty of children. Just need to get a broom and a pitchfork
