I am new to this site, upgraded to silver status to send PMs but still don’t seem to have the functionality.

I think there is a three day HOLD on any new member reaching others via PPM, it's an anti spam feature of our software.

A Mod is verfying emails and IP addresses and so forth.
So, give it time.

I 'm sure he has a website and social media, but off hand I do not know it.

Once you are able it's easy enough to find one of his photo threads in Vintage or Events and send him a note

It's not a time requirement, it's a minimum number of posts requirement. The site wants to see the type of posts you make before you get access to PM. Too many scammers and spammers register and then use PM to work their schemes without ever posting.

Thank you. Still working out how to navigate the site. What a treasure trove of information. I thought the upgrade meant I didn’t need to post to get the PM feature.

Anyway I am over the moon. The world seems small, being able to share information around the world and something I thought would take ages, if at all took a few hours. Amazing.

@Marcel Massini, Mr. Massini, I contacted you back in March. You were kind enough to email me a quote to to provide a report on my '72 Dino. Unfortunately, the company that hosts my business' email servers (Rackspace) was attacked by ransomware hackers and I've been unable to retrieve any of my older emails.
