Marchionne predicted that carmakers will have less than a decade to reinvent themselves to survive in the world of new technologies. I understand not liking it, but he's absolutely correct.
This man has no respect for the Ferrari s emblem, but he s very lucky, just because this emblem gives him the mean to sell anything !
They say the balance between ICE and all-electric will tip in 2040. I'll be 82 by then. So, not my problem!
Who's going to reinvent our electrical grid in less than a decade? I just don't see that happening nor any reason for these cars just yet. We have a ton of other things to build and rebuild.
Looks nice for a hatchback, BUT, aren't SUVs suppose to be 4-doors? Only Jeep and Blazer come to mind as 2-door examples. Here is a rather alarming article from AutoTrader about the historical success of 2-door SUVs: https://www.autotrader.com/car-news/every-single-two-door-suv-has-failed-266841
A best I can figure, it's going to have "hidden" rear doors in a suicide arrangement. It won't be a true two door.

At first I was upset then I looked at it as a Ferrari Store product (which Im ok with)... designed as a profit center sold for appearance to people as a fashion item/ status symbol. Its not so bad then since it will help fund the sports cars we love Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Correct if wrong..watched a new blurb on the business channel, and ferraris next models will all be hybrid or full electric. Get them while you can.

"We will embrace electrification. It will become a mainstay in our portfolio" Marchionne went on to say. Despite this, he also confirmed that more Ferraris powered solely by internal combustion engines will be launched in the coming year. Pretty good news. I also liked that he brought up the possibility of "continuation" models, but I think he meant a retro-modern car or two. Maybe that's the Dino rumor.
Marchionne: "Power-to-weight ratio is almost irrelevant to me." That's a quite a concerning statement.
The Ferrari SUV needs to look different than all the other SUVs you see everyday, it has to have a great design and sound good
The door is wide open for them. I’m not a fan of the SUV idea but it’s coming, like it or not. Accepting that, it needs to be insane. The Urus is a bore. Ferrari has an opportunity to blow everyone away, just as they have done with the Pista. I’m confident they will.
"The Urus is a bore". Seriously?? I might call that vehicle many things, but boring isn't one of them.
