Howdy, all. Just got off the phone with Mark Mina, who has returned to Ferrari of New England. Many of you know Mark, who used to be the parts guy at the dealership before going down to Inskip. Since Boch bought out FoNE, however, Mark is now back, and he is the new "Service and Parts Director" and is responsible for the move down to Foxboro in two weeks two. This will allow Steve to focus on overseeing the techs in the service department and Ryan to managing parts inventories and such, while Mark handles more of the customer interaction.

Very nice guy - I've bought parts from him over the years, and he's always been very responsive and helpful. Say hello the next time you're in the dealership (before or after the move).

    vty,

Last week I passed a construction site next to the Norwood Cadillac dealer that had a sign reading something like "future site of Ferrari/Maserati". What is the Foxboro site going to be?

    Interesting.

The Attleboro Sun Chronicle has Foxboro as the site.

FOXBORO -- Route 1 in Foxboro has attracted another high-end business.
Ferrari Maserati of New England plans to move this month from West Newton to a former Ford dealership building at 101 Washington St. near Gillette Stadium.

Michael Shafman, vice president of operations for Boch Enterprises, said Ferrari of New England and Maserati of New England, which are scheduled to open in Foxboro on July 24, will be the only Ferrari and Maserati franchise in the six-state region.

`` They are luxury, exotic sports cars,'' Shafman said.

The dealership has leased the 26,700-square foot former Rodman Ford Lincoln-Mercury building on four acres. The property is owned by Don Rodman, president of Rodman Ford Sales, 45 Washington St., and sons Curtis and Brett Rodman, according to attorney Harold Cohen.

The Rodmans have moved the Lincoln-Mercury dealership into a new building adjacent to Rodman Ford Sales.

Shafman said the new Ferrari Maserati site is much larger and more accessible than the dealer's current location in Newton. He said the New England Patriots organization's plans to build a vast mixed-use commercial complex at Gillette Stadium was a factor in the decision to move the Ferrari and Maserati dealership to Route 1 in Foxboro.

Boch Enterprises has six other dealerships and a distributorship from Norwood to Attleboro.
