I always enjoyed easily being able to see the three market threads at the top of the page when i log in and posting new finds for the group. Can we get those back up top? I was okay with the three threads of 328, 308, GT4.

    How does everybody else feel?

I am a sticky grouch; I really don't like them. I would prefer if there were no stickies.

If some one posts on a topic, it would go to the top.

I began the 308 market thread by carefully tabulating auction results but it kept getting derailed by posters going off topic commenting on period incorrect annoyances they found. A shame but that's the nature of a forum. To operate as a good sticky, threads like that need to keep on topic + probably be moderated. Which takes effort.. The parts cross ref thread self regulates, just about.

Agree but I think folks were pretty good at posting auction and sales results as well...wish it were sticky again!

I happened to catch an 84 GTSI going across the block at Barrett Jackson on T.V. last night. It ended up selling for either 54 or 55k I don't remember exactly which. It was red with a black interior they didn't divulge much info. but looked halfway decent.

Me too. It seems like we now have many little individual threads again.

I don't think the market thread ever went too-far off topic with the various comments that were often opinions. Some of the ad hoc comments were useful in explaining to others why a car might have gone for less than expected. For opining, there is always the notorious Bubble Thread in Vintage.

While I was at Scottsdale this year I was introduced to the phone app “Hammer Price”. Check it out. It might give you some insight to prices. But I’ve got to tell you, B/J is not the way to buy a Ferrari.
