I'm curious if there is a market for VHS Videos in the Ferrari world?
The ones on the right are the well known Hyde Park. Duke and White Star Collections and Rendezvous. Titles are easy to read on the spines.
On the left, Koenig Specials, Ultimate V-8 (F355 @Road Atlanta with the Sheltons driving), Ferrari Rosso, FCA Nationals 93-94-99-84-87, Ferrari Festival (Monterey 94), Ferrari Festival 3 (D.C. & Summit Point),
(F355 & F50 by Ferrari Idea), Il Mondo Ferrari, GTO Story with Innes Ireland.
Any guidance as to the value is most appreciated!

Please excuse my if this comes thru a bit rough (it's not meant to be):
I think you are bit late with this.
VHS? Wasn't that something in the 70s?
What comes also to my mind are CD's, for those that are old enough to remember.
    When was youtube invented?
    Clouds?

Hello Marcel: I appreciate your candor and humor. Same as when I met you at the 2006 FCA meet in Washington D.C. While everyone else was at Cocktail Hour you and I had a nice chat while I washed and dried my Gallardo out in the parking lot. Still have your business card!
Yea, I know these are ancient, and I converted them to C.D. years ago. Eventually they will self-destruct, but thought some of these really are unique and there might be someone that would like to acquire them and then convert them to C.D.'s for their collection. The Ferrari Idea videos of the F50 and F355 really get your heart racing. Il Mondo Ferrari is so well done, and then some of the FCA National Events, great footage of Concours, Track, Rallies, etc, etc.
Hope you're well and by the way, I recently enjoyed watching a Youtube featuring you showcasing your archives. Truly impressive beyond imagination. Thank you for your dedication to the History of Ferrari and support of the community!
    Ciao,
    Kent

I still have a color TV with an integral VHS, that works....in the Garage Man Cave..

But "approaching worthless" would have been my direct answer, but Marcel politley beat me to it!
As a big fan of Innes Irleand I have never seen that one, he did infact race the "250GTO in the field: IIRC, before it came to Texas, raced, and sold off for $6K..

Nick Mason's "Carrera Panamerica" is one of my favorites, or any race the Schumacher wins in a Ferrari (there's a LOT of them!!)

The format may be outdated, but the content is what it is. In addition, many are not available in any other format. I recall Enzo Ferrari: The Man, The Legend (6th from right, yellow case) as being one of the best films about Enzo Ferrari, with plenty of interviews with those who were actually there and are now, unfortunately, long gone. Rosso Ferrari (lower-right photo, on the right) is a treasure, especially if it is the version with English subtitles, rather than voice-over. Where else are you going to get Enzo Ferrari himself directly explaining his thoughts and motivations for roughly a half hour? And, I agree, the 1990s period Ferrari Idea videos really were well done.

Thanks for your very kind reply! On a cold blustery winter day when all you can do is dream about getting your cars back out, watching a Ferrari video or C.D. really brightens things up. Prior to YouTube these and other nicely done presentations like the Ultimate Factories series or those featuring Alain de Cadenet make for a great way to spend a day in the den.
The Rosso Ferrari is as you stated. Enzo speaking and English subtitles.
There’s a lot of good content out there today but these as with so many vintage Ferrari things have a unique personality.
Yes, that is the car. It was great to hear his comparisons as he drove both the 288 GTO and the 250 GTO back to back.

    I probably have that issue!

I am sure I was quoting my known facts from it.

Oddly, in a downtown bar, randomly I struck a conversation with an old cat that well knew the O Conners in Victoria...
    Small world sometimes!!

Peter Egan of course wrote about Innes, in a way that made you want him as an Uncle or something....

Good point above that many of these are trademarked and contain film interviews of folks we just don't have around anymore.

I remember seeing photos in the magazines of the GTO with its faded red paint sitting on the trailer in the field just rotting away.
The fellow that owned it was completely indifferent to value, and was happy to just let sit and be a flower pot.
Of course eventually it got sold, restored, shown at Pebble and the rest is of course history.
I’ve always wondered if the deal that dit the trick was a mountain of money or something like putting the previous owners next five generations of grand kids through college. We’ll never know………
