I'm young too, but I love Gilligan's Island... gotta be Mary Anne (although that Lovee was one hot piece of...well, I'll stay away from that one )
For some stupid reason, I know the following: Cast LAST names: Gilligan - Willie Gilligan Ginger Grant The skippers real name is Jonas Grumby
Mary Ann, silly. Mary Ann was played by Dawn Wells - and is a nice, nice lady. Tina Louise was the Bit-, I mean, Ginger (reviled by rest of cast, as she thought the show would/could/should be built around her, though the show was titled "Gilligan's Island." She resented the show's "interruption" of what she felt should be a superstar film career & maintained an aura of uncooperative unapproachability - as if repulsed by everyone else concerned with the show) Jim Backus played Thurston Howell III (Thirst n' Howl) - deceased. Natalie Schafer was Lovey Howell - deceased - ashes at sea. I thought the skipper was Alan Hale, Jr. (was his name changed to Hale? I'm not looking anything up) - deceased - ashes at sea. EDIT: Oh, I see - Character Name - Very clever! Bob Denver is the only person who could be The Idi-, I mean, Gilligan. Inseparable from that TV I.D. Stumped as to who the Professor was played by, though I've seen him in various flicks. Familiarity is due to fact that my fiancee was working for the producers of the last Gilligan Reunion movie and a meet n' greet was, for lack of a better term, a perk. Moreso a Documentary than a Movie, insights were shared on what life on the set was like, as well as some pre-history and what happened with cast members since production of the original series ended. The surviving members of the cast aside from "Ginger" contributed their insights, and recall the departed fondly. If I recall the closing shot of the DocuMovie correctly, the character of "Ginger" aka Tina Louise wasn't even in the wide-angle shot. Whose decision that was, I don't know. Mary Ann wins the pageant and the Miss Congeniality award.
You mean like Jonas Grumby, Roy Hinkley, Miss Summers or Miss Grant? I remember seeing the first episode where they said everyone's first and last names except Gilligan. I don't ever remember hearing his full name on any episode.
