I have always liked the car and think it's a winner. I am a bit concerned about resale value. Several are listed on E bay and are like new cars with a 25k discount off list on a 2k mile car. What's up?

Where? I've yet to see one sell for less than $97K. Maybe you're looking at the ones with "reserve not met."
So far they are selling for above MSRP with miles on them.

my wife bought her car new and after having ordered it 1 year before. the car has 5k miles on it. she wouldn't sell it as there is nothing else on the market to replace it. even though she paid HIGH, i don't think you are going to find a nice car for less than msrp. any cars that are lower than msrp are either bad selections or cars that have problems. the msrp changed greatly due to the weak dollar about 1 year ago. the msrp's continue to rise. the car is still a rare and great car.

That's typical for any car in that price range these days...you can even buy a NEW MBZ for $10-15K off of list all day long here in LA.

The right way to look at car depreciation is "You won't do any worse than you will on any other car." If you're still worrying about resale value, your living in the past and might as well be day trading dot.com stocks. With the constant stream of new product coming out and people retating in and out of cars more frequently used car resale values are going to keep slipping.
