There is an 8-page feature about #2427 (200SI) and #2431 (250S) in the May edition of Octane magazine. As the PDF-File of this article is too big to upload, please e-mail me if you want me to mail it to you.

Do you have any pictures of the 200S engine block? I'm looking for good pictures of both sides of the engine and the front and rear as we are seriously starting the restoration of block #2418 and need to see where all of the exterior equipment and tubing is located.

    Wolf,

I'll chase it down locally but thanks for the offer. What I am really looking for is pictures of an engine out of the car so we can see all of the items bolted to the block. If you have anything, color or black and white, in photos, I would really like to see them.

    Hello Elliot,
In the book "Maserati Sports, Racing and GT cars 1926-1975" by Crump and Box, there are a pair of photo's that show the engine out of the car, with a fair view of both sides. Regards Ian.
