Hello to everybody! I'm new on this forum.

I'm interested to know the colour code of the following pictures of the Maserati Vignale I have found here:

    The Maserati 3500 Spyder Vignale

First of all.....is this blue colour an original colour of Maserati? Somebody knows the name or colour code of it?

Thanks a lot in advsnce for any answer.

    Regards,

In 2002 Ermanno Cozza made a color list for the Maserati club: the blue celeste isn't there. Where did you find it?

You are right! In the list of Mr. Cozza you can not find any colour with the name "celeste" for the Maserati 3500 GT Spyder Vignale.

But in the car lists you can find here:

Collectors Corner - Maserati 3500 GT Vignale Spyder: Anamera

    and here:

    The Maserati 3500 Spyder Vignale

you will find two cars with the colour "celeste" and one car with the colour "celeste ardenza".

Maserati has built in the same time period some 3500 GT Touring with the colour celeste and celeste ardenza......so I do not know how to explain me these.....maybe you know how is possible this difference in these lists?

    Thanks for further information.

    Saluti!

Ok, this is another story. You know that blue celeste in the Italian language means anything: a colour is or blue (dark) or celeste (light).
What i can say is: usually a coachbuilder made an own colour list, so the Vignale and the Touring colour lists are different. Anyway, a colour matches with the colour of another period car sometimes. For example: some 3500GT Touring colours match with the Flaminia GT colours. Try to find a Max Meyer period catalogue.
