what is the price range for a silver one with 900 miles.
They should not be building this car with such a name plate. Maserati as a real racing and fine car producer are long gone. They should retire the name altogether if they are going to continue to put such a lousy car on the market.
anyhow the car is up for sale if anyone is interested http://www.ferrarichat.com/ferrariads/showproduct.php?product=1740&sort=1&cat=17&page=1
Interesting that these are such rare cars but correct me if I am wrong but only 90 were made and they were all blue? We had one at our local Ferrari dealer for about 3 months...they couldnt sell it, was going for R1.45 million or so(divide by 7 for $). For me the chrome look door handles sour the whole shape......
They are great looking cars. Nice alternative to the blvd. cruiser SL or Jag. Less maintenance than a Ferrari. Rafi
Agreed..sorry about the post. i had just gotten back from a 4 hour drive in one of these, and was not impressed at all. It was perhaps one of the worst convertables I have ever driven, including the old t-top Corvettes. The thing had so much cowel shake it was embarassing. The F1 gearbox was very slow to shift, and over all the car felt like a tin can with 4 wheels and a leather interior. For the price they are asking for these cars, they should be a much better car. My old Benz with 500,000km on the clock felt 100 times more solid then the almost new Maser. On the pluse side, they do handle quite well and the steering feel is very nice, but as an overall product, they could have done much better. The Grandsport is a much better machine overall it seems.
FWIW, the 2005 90th anniversary spyder is essentially a 2006 GS Spyder. i know awhile ago i called it a cosmetic GS, but really, it is more than that. yes, their specs says it is 390 hp and their VIN is a spyder vin instead of a GS vin, but the car is basically a GS spyder. the engine with the 'sport' exhaust is where that 10hp is. also, you get all the interior and exterior bits of the GS spyder (plus the CF tonneau cover). if you have driven an older spyder, the CC transmission programming might be different. The GS, GS spyder, and 90th anniversary spyder has the '35% quicker' transmission programming that is definitely good.
lol,. you start a thread trying to sell your spyder and now calling me a moron? haha. you are funnier in the other post btw.
then next time don't accuse me of misleading anyone. and i guess this maserati dealer is also misleading correct? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Maserati-Spyder-2005-Maserati-90th-Anniv-Spyder-No-60-of-90-2k-mi_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6313QQihZ014QQitemZ330039844054QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW on another note why don't you subscribe to f-chat and contribute to the site Oh i forget your contribution is to start BS
Guys it's a small community and we're all here for our passion of Ferrari & Maserati, can't we all just get along?
Eevin i have no problem with anyone but when i don' like anyone accusing me of misleading anyone else . where does he get the right to do so. he has no idea who i am .
LOL. 'he has no idea who i am'. really, i don't have to have any idea who you are, and almost everyone reading this thread. if you are so important and have so many cars, blah blah blah, let us know who you are instead of putting it like you are really important. there are folks here who are more important than you and they don't sound like that... i dont remember the fella with the P4/5 sound anything like you.
why don't you ask Jim who is the fella with the p4/5 about me before you put your foot in your mouth once again.
