Still getting over this weekend's races. What a show. Great cars, people perfect weather!

On a sad note one of ourr drivers died after having a heart atack behind the wheel of his Kurtis / Allard car. Single car incident and by all accounts the elderly gentleman was dead before he hit the wall. His friends told me he was seventy years young and died doing what he loved best.

Attached are some promissed snap shots of my car in the paddock before the races and one during Saturday's qualifying race.

    Warm regards,

    Bill Noon

I was in the stands for the first session on Saturday. I saw you pass someone (forget what/who), then you got stuck behind a convertible I think. Looked like you were having fun.

    Regards.

    Thanks Alberto!

I was having a blast. It was hard as the car would barely run above 4K rpm. Points, rotor, cap, ignition wires are 30+ years old and the engine just would not make power.

The brakes would start to lock up after ten laps and just drag the whole car down.

Its such a fun and killer handling car. We arleady did a full rebuild today on the brakes including the master cylinder so that is behind me. I am sourcing all new ignition components and then the car should be a stud runner.

    Cheers,

    Bill

    Great stuff.

Glad to see that you are enjoying the car the way it was meant to be.
