    Stopped by The Collection here in Miami today and witnessed the Maserati Birdcage 75 on the turntable. it was still warm and street-use-dirty (brake dust, light soil, etc.) and i noticed that their curb ramps were still set up, so i guess i just missed it getting pulled in.

    i heard one gent mention that he 'was the new owner' but he was on his way out, so couldn't figure out who it was.

    amazing look. i'm guessing we'll see it at the miami beach auto show this weekend, etc.....
    a real surprise to see it at The Collection.....wow.

    how many of these were made or is it a concept?

    (sorry - no pics as i carry a blackberry and no serial/VIN numbers to report...)

    The prototype is not street legal and will be kept by PininFarina (to my best knowledge).
    However, 4 chassis could be converted for lucky MC12 owners. The car would be slightly different. Mirrors, doors, etc...
    I hope they will make some but there's nothing official yet.
