Is there somebody that has the following book: Maserati: The Evolution of Style by Roberto Iasoni.

I'm curious if it is a good one and which cars are included (as according to the site it included only 13 models).

I have copy of it. It is quite a large book and the photos are quite beautiful. There is very little written material and nothing worthwhile in terms of specifications but it does show the wonderful elegance of many of the Models. it starts with the A6 GCS/3 Berlinetta and ends with the current Alfieri. The photos show various aspects of the inside and outside of the cars shown. It's really more a coffee table book than anything else.

What is the actual text about then? Is it about the design of the cars?

Also, are current Ghibli, GranTurismo, Quattroporte V and 3200GT included?

Its mainly pics and they draw comparisons with design objects and inventions of the year of launch. Its really a coffee table book showing the design of the cars.

If you are interested in a comprehensive history of the early race and GT cars, there is only on book worth having.

And that is "Maserati: A complete history from 1926 to the present" by Orsini & Zagari published in 1980. Expensive, but worth every penny !

If you are interested in individual models, there have been books that have covered certain models; Merak and Bora, 5000GT, A6G/54 Zagato, 450S, Tipo 60/61 Birdcage, 300S,
Maserati: The Post-War Sportsracing Cars, Birdcage to Supercage (Tipo 63-64-65).

    All good reads.
