I am looking for member thoughts regarding the Factory Certification program by Fabio Collina.

Can any of the members of this formum comment? Would it be possible post a copy of what Maserati gives you?

I did have Fabio Collina explain the whole program to me, but I was hoping to see an example of what Maserati actually gives you.

    Many thanks!

I went with my Merak SS (1983) to the factory and had them inspect the car to make sure everything was 100% perfect. I also asked Mr Collina and he gave me the documentation and certification of my car.

Unfortunately, I don't have the documents with me since I am at work right now but they are totally worth their cost if you are serious about your car and collecting everything related to it. I also believe that it adds a little bit to its resale value because the next owner can read about the car and its original order and other details (special features, etc).

If you are not a collector then you probably don't need the documents.

If you are going to be at Concorso Italiano a week from tomorrow, I will be happy to show you my factory documentation. The information is extensive, quite informative and well presented.

Thank you Sir!!!! I will try very hard to be there!

On a side note, Fabio just informed me that the Tech. Data Sheet was incorrect for my car and was incorrectly filed. It was for another 3500 GT, but it has very interesting hand written documentation; dyno numbers etc. detailed engine specs. etc. Final drive raito etc.

    ~Ciao

Yes, you will receive all of that info, on a large piece of parchment paper.
    Very nice presentation.
