I spoke with my dad tonight, who flew his new plane down to the Sun-N-Fun fly-in in Lakeland, FL (www.sun-n-fun.com). Apparantly the big deal today was when a Maserati's catalytic converter caught the grass field parking lot on fire. No injuries, except for the 23 cars that burned...

The articles that I have found state that the car was a 2005 Maserati, and it appears to be a Quattroporte from the photos.

    What a bummer...

Wow glad nobody was hurt. What kind of plane did your dad fly down?

I'm not able to edit my post. Sorry for the bad link. The website should be www.sun-n-fun.org. Hopefully that works. I didn't find any problems with the news link.

Dad's new toy is the Epic LT. Very fun plane...

Nice looking aircraft.... I'd never heard of Epic. I've heard of the Eclipse.
