    Hi Guys,

Could the readers post some information / photos of their original period Maserati Ghibli car radios, does the forum know what Maserati installed in the car when they were originally built? OR did the local dealer install what the customer requested, I am looking at replacing my car radio in my 1968 Maserati 4.7L manual coupe AM 115 - 344 with a Becker Europa but also seeking more information before I embark on the job

According to the factory build sheet (Avviso Spedizione), my 1970 Ghibli came with a Becker Grand Prix and electric antenna. Both were installed at the factory.

I would start by checking your car's factory documentation to see if the radio is specified in one of the documents.

My Ghibli has the same spec from the factory build sheet. It lists a Becker Grand Prix with antena installed by the dealer and sold to Rome area. The car is a 1969 4.7.

The Becker Grand Prix radios are very rare and hard to come. I got mine from a Chrome London who restores vintage radio, very good seller.

The build sheets from the factory show everything and are still remarkably easy to request and obtain from the factory, versus the Ferrari "Red Book"!

On my build sheet, I can only read Ma or Mo 183.

Don't know what does it mean.

However, I have orignal electrical antenna + Becker GP.

As regards the Ferrari "red book", released by the Ferrari Classiche dpt, I would say binder, I cry everytme I look to the one of my Dino that cost me 3,900 € netto...

It's such incomplete w/ some mistakes...

I would have appreciated that it included copies of the original factory documents such as the ones we can get for 10 times less expensive at the Classiche dt of Maserati.
