A friend of mine is selling a 1968 Ghibli. It is in good condition, has 50k on the speedo, burgundy color and rare and original Alligator leather interior. The car is in our area and could be inspected etc.

    PM me if you're interested.

Wow! That really sounds like a cool car! I love those old Ghibli's....and wth Alligator Leather! But, sadly, I am not looking to buy anything right now.

Does anybody have an idea what an appropriate price range would be?

You can also check: www.hemmings.com They have a few listed in there every Month. There may be more on their website, but here is what they have in this (June '06) issue....

First, there are 2-1967's. One is "Stripped and ready for Paint". The other "has a 350 Chevy engine in it". No prices listed.

Second, 1967 Ghibli Spyder conversion. 5 speed. $12K just spent on suspension, brakes, pistons. Just needs paint and interior to finish.$42,500.00

    Third, 1970 Ghibli Spyder. 4.7 Liter engine, 5 speed, 13K miles.$168,500.00!

That's all of the Ghibli's. There are a few Indy's, Mexico's, Mistral's, and one Merak. (besdides the newer models.)

But I've seen the coupes listed here for anywhere from the $20's to the $60's, depending on condition. And if they are the "SS" version, which I believe has the 4.9 Liter engine, as opposed to the 4.7.

You can also try: www.ferraribuy.com They also have listings for Lamborghini and "Other" Exotics.

    And: www.dupontregistry.com
