Greetings All ! I have a GS due in by October (via the dealers estimation) from a Chicago land dealer. At the present time, it doesnt look like Ill be taking possesion of the car. If anyone in the NorthWestern region is interested in a GS drop me a line. Build sheet is: Bianco Fuji paint Aluminum calipers Dark blue carpets Dark blue seats White piping and stitching Blu metal technical fabric ( dash and seat inserts ) Heated seats Black steering wheel Carbon Fibre door sills and upper moldings Aluminum passenger footrest Auditorium 200 stereo Xenons Skyhook suspension Satin wheels (similar to the Ferrari Challenge Stradale wheel finish) The car has had a deposit down on it and will be available to pick up directly from the dealer. Saw one of these cars at my local dealer. Looked pretty neat in Black with the black interior. Basically the Maserati verision of the Ferrari Challenge Stradale.
Also was told that Maserati/Ferrari did not want to say the real horsepower because it would take away from the Stradale market. Had the car dynoed at 440HP recently.
I concure ....? Maseratis mission.....under Ferrari ...has been to bring back to life the Gran Touring Sport experience............said the MC12........... The GS is just that (opinoins: via news / mag sources/ owner response) Since its debut, and my deposit on the car.....................its never been touted as the next "Maser CS" ????? This thread was to draw an interest to those wishing to purchase a Maser GS car inbound to the NW area...........not BS speculation as too....................................... ???? Get it?
440 rwhp + 20% driveline loss = 528 say 530 crank engine HP Please provide the dyno graph and the dealer who dynoed the GS If the Gransport has 530 hp Maserati and its owners should know anout it........................ Although I suspect your claim is just plain BS !
I never said 440 RWHP. I just 440HP. I am not sure if it was 440RWHP or at the crank. I am going to the dealer on Friday and I will find out for you. I am not starting a BS thread or trying to get clients excited or something, but this is just was I was told by a reputable dealer.
I seen one today on the street It was standing I seen the owner go out and start and rev it then drive away. It looked great and sounded impressive to.
The car will be at Lake forest sports cars. I had to bow out from the purchase. I dont know if its be re-sold yet............anyone interested give them a call. As far as I know, it hasnt come in yet. Ask for Tyler Dean Schackman
