hi Graeme, Thanks for the information. The question is if we should make two or more in order to reduce the cost. Who is in charge of this? Thank you and best regards, Armaz
Al: 409 looking better and better I like the Merak pick up special behind it! Just teasing Merak owners here;-)! Graeme and Armaz: regarding fuel compartment lids since it seems this is an uncomplicated part I would encourage you to make more, or at the very least retain the capacity to make more ie pattern mold or whatever is needed. Perhaps other owners might want to take a look at theirs now. best regards, Marc
Hi Armaz This is being negotiated at the moment. The guys at MacGraths are considering it. I will let you know how we get on Have yous sourced one yet? Regards Graeme
Hi Graeme, Thanks for the info. I actually purchased some spare parts from McGraths, it is a good choice. I have not found one yet and have gave up hope on that. Regards, Armaz
I Recieved an email flyer this morning From MIE and I remebered some one was after a mirror http://www.maseratinet.com/pc-21612-829-left-exterior-mirror-rallye.aspx EXTERIOR MIRROR - LEFT CHROME RALLYE Graeme Image Unavailable, Please Login
Unless MIE just bought the guy out there is a fellow in Greece selling these on ebay for about $25. I was the one who mentioned this mirror about 3 weeks ago, and that's where I got mine. I love the folks at MIE but wow that's a price hike.
Yep, he is still selling them if anyone is interested, $22.90 plus $14 shipping. Ebay USA # 280773026745

Well, the Khamsin is back! After about 8 months on the lift, I just drove it back to London. Installed a new exhaust system, rebuild air conditioning system, cured major oil leak due to various cracks in the sump etc etc. It has been a learning process! In the meantime, my mechanic would like to reinstate the emission control system as we think it will help with engine cooling. In that light, we need to find a non-return valve for it. Any ideas? Pascal
Armaz, there seems to be a full gas lid assembly for sale on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MASERATI-KHAMSIN-RARE-GAS-CAP-COVER-PLATE-ASSEMBLY-NEW-/310357568959?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4842c0adbf#ht_1119wt_1165 Pascal

Very nice Vignalespider! I looks like fun roads for the Khamsin, and I can guess the V8 sounded great next to the mountain walls. Ciao Marius
Vignale spyder superb shots, thanks for posting: very reminiscent of Goldfinger though 007 had a lesser silver car! Paul: welcome back, I emailed you recently but did not hear back, your Khamsin Quaranta invitation is in your mailbox let me know if you can't find it. I can send you the printed version through the mail if you let me know to what address. Pascal congrats getting your car back I am sure the tech experts here will be able to help. MS
Dear all, Long time since I was here with any comments as I have been busy and been in US for the last 8 months - taking care of a refit of a super yacht at Rybovich Boat Yard in West Palm Beach / Florida. I just want to share a picture of my engine and body restoration shortly starting to assemble of the car and hopefully being ready for the 40K in France this summer. All the best and nice to get back in Action now! John Berg Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

John hello: good to know you are still alive;-) I know how it feels to leave south Florida and arrive in Europe just in time for winter:-( Car looks great, specially since the only time I saw it was unpainted at the Essen tecno Classica in 2010. Do you have everything you need to finish assembly? As you know that is where time is lost tracking things down. There will be at least two other fully restored Khamsins at K40, they will be finished in the next couple of months, best of luck to you and keep us informed! Marc
I will start posting slowly the photos from that fantastic file I got from Japan. To start with the worst and finish with the best, the sad sight number 1, chassis number unknown seen in a Tokyo junkyard last year. MS Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
