#435 seems to have sold from Cape Town South Africa to the UK according to the post of McGrath below https://wopita.com/media/2355058099558479750_7019883796
Yes Jack V sold it several years ago before moving from ZA to Holland, while the car is now in the UK with its new owner.
Nice and yes I would expect that with numbers 25349-550184. And in the neighbourhood of the "1166MM" car in the UK (25345-550180).
Below are some numbers of #1260, the white car for sale at Gullwing. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
And another thing about a number (sorry ). On the Certificate of Origin of AM120028, see below the Body number (Carrozzeria) is 500005. I thought that was remarkable, this is even lower than the Carrozzeria number of AM120008? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are these cars identified? The photos are well known but I don't know the VIN. - light blue 1978 car UK - dark blue car in Germany - silver car with dark green dash top sold by BHCC Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The mystery car in Hong Kong is probably #359: https://www.picuki.com/media/2143367252377279486 More photos: https://www.carthrottle.com/post/nr89y29/
Well of it is 282 someone inverted the rear lights, it is common for them to be mistakenly mounted upside down and wrong side when people work on a car...but the CH sticker while not on the car when I saw it would make it even more likely that this is the car, I mean how many possibilities could there be? Here a December 2008 photo I took at garage Beau Rivage in Lausanne. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Aha thanks for solving that, it still has its old UK number plates so George Perfect's ex car, sold new to Rocco Forte of the Trusthouse Forte hotels in the UK is now in Hong Kong and repainted rame or rame ish....George really enjoyed that car and drove it very fast until health issues made him sell it. He once was stopped at such a speed while touring Switzerland that they banned him from the country Here photos of its life back in the UK. . The silver car could be 1078, one can just guess from the photo below, that would go well with the 1975 production year Image Unavailable, Please Login
Gullwing has had that one for over 1 1/2 years. It must be be difficult to sell due to its questionable ownership history.
Good morning Roger, AMLC, I thought it would be 1292, see photos below; same colors, Walrus tusks still on and low miles last I heard about it. I compiled a list of all missing cars of the period corresponding to those Carrozzeria and Autovettura numbers from my database and sent it to Fabio Collina of Maserati Classiche who kindly went through the possibilities and identified it. This car in Chicago is in fact AM120US1284, another one that emerges out of nowhere. Build details: rosso Fuoco/black 14/11/78. So unfortunately that is its original color, red is really not ideal for a Khamsin but to each his own. In any case there is no fabulous original color to revert to under the red, red it is is. Again these are photos not of 1284 but of of 1292, near identical, when it was at Motorcar Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the early 1990's. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have no idea what you are talking about and since I finished all tasks early I am going to the pool on one of the last full on summer days
You are doing just the right thing! Enjoy!! I was referring to the post #333 in this blog, and a picture I found on the internet of an unidentified car so I thought you may have asked Fabio Collina about these two as well... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Two weeks ago at Bergmann in Ratingen Germany: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mauricevangestel/50302290383/ Probably #034?
One of the participants at the Wrea Green Car Carnival (Wrea Green, I looked it up, it is a village in Lancashire in the UK near Preston, north of Liverpool) in 2014 was a Khamsin see the links below. According to the registration it is a 1982 car. I don’t think it is #435 (f308jack’s car) because it was in 2014, and #435 came to the UK later than 2014? And some details are not the same (mirror, rear fog light). So this must be 437?. Or is it 417? https://www.flickr.com/photos/131230945@N06/17368749285/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/131230945@N06/17368753145/
Hello Roger, The mirror of the Wrea Green car looks identical to the one on #415, but I don´t think the car in Wrea Green is #415. The car in Wrea Green is dark red I think (maroon according to the vehicle registration site), not red like #415. And the car in Wrea Green does not have the sticker on the rear window (Killinghall Garage) that #415 (still) has.
