    Hi all

Has someone been to Parma for the Maserati Master GT course? I'd be interested in your opinion.

    Cheers
    Markus

I have taken the course and found it to be very informative and fun. The instructors and staff are genuinly sincere people as well as professional.

They provide both off track driving exercises and several laps on the track, where you drive with the instructors, alone, and on some laps you follow the instructor. You can really get an understanding of finding proper lines around turns, steering, proper braking, and accelaration technique. They also take you for a few laps in the Trofero which is unbelievable as the driver, Andrea Piccini, does not hold back.

I highly recommend this course to any Maserati owner. When you return, you will drive your car differently. I found that the car has much more performance than I originally thought and I now enjoy the performance of the car in a safer and more controlled way.

If you do take the course, my suggestion is to remember that the key is to become familiar with the track. This way you can anticipate and prepare for the next turn. As you become familiar with the track, you can begin working on improving turning & braking technique.

Thanks, Greg. I just sent them the application form and am looking forward to taking the course in July.
