Sounded like he picked it up at the dealer no?

The video is just advertising for his biz, "Hey I've got one come have a look". Not much of a review.

For some reason in this particular video, the car sounds the best of any other video I've seen.

I doubt you're going to be disappointed by this car unless you're looking for raw visceral vehicle. But it's never going to have Maserati V8 sound lie the Granturismo did.

My C8 also has the camera mirror. Some people will never get 100% comfortable with it. I have a tough time focusing. It’s an acquired taste.

Same transaxle too, Tremec right? I guess that makes sense for Maserati as they were always an off the shelf small manufacturing firm. At least the engine, chassis and body are ALL Maserati. Earlier last year I got my first car with a backup camera and all those warning chimes. I'd driven lots of rentals with that stuff on it but using it everyday is something else again. Not a big fan of that stuff because I just don't trust it and so I think it actually slows me down. My skills have suffered. I do hope this Maserati isn't doing too damn much automatically and that it's basically so well balanced that it's not really needed but I expect many owners will overdrive the car beyond their own skill set and the car will save them.

after the attempted sale on Bring A Trailer, Maserati is now doing a Right of First Refusal on new MC20s.

It makes sense. But I think even Chevy is considering this on the C8 and Z06.

The problem is... how to enforce it. You're going to tell the guy he can never buy another new Maserati? For most this will not be an issue.

From what I can see, all the interiors are black but with different stitching or design details. The blue design seems to be most predominate. I wish they would replicate the blue interior in red and yellow. Maybe they will later on.

You can have a tan interior. That would be my choice with the sort of Bugatti blue they have.

Maserati offers only 5 colors and always black for the interior (with stitching in different colors) while Ferrari for their new 296 offers no less than 24 colors and various colors for the interior.

Good post. I like those guys. Closest thing to old topgear. Review should be entertaining and informative

I have had the vehicle for two months now and I do not agree with it on the suspensions. The vehicle feels stiff because of the chassis but I drove with it on all types of roads and the vehicle behaves excellently on bumpy roads. When I drive a car I feel like I drive a kart and it's really fun. I have a 458 and it's a completely different vehicle that is unlike any other vehicle and that's what's so fun about this vehicle

Just saw a new car in the flesh down town Naples. Dark blue. Did not look as good to me as in pics. Personally, I would go with the McLaren GT.

Please compare it to 458 driving experience. Obviously turbo v na engine but what about other things like traction, ride, steering, refinement, etc?

Can't wait for comparison tests with evo, f8, 720, even z06. Mc20 is already best styling to me

The Maserati is faster than the 458 and also stiffer and more stable. With the Maserati you can drive much harder on technical roads. And in general there is perfect harmony in the connection between the engine gearbox and the chassis. As I wrote it is a completely different car from the 458. The 458 is a super special vehicle and fun in a completely different way and that is exactly what I was looking for in a completely different vehicle from the Ferrari. I really enjoy Maserati and every day that passes I connect with it more and more

Did you get the carbon ceramic brakes ? If yes, is it worth the upgrade in your opinion ?

If there's one thing I'm sorry about is that I did not order the vehicle with carbon brakes. My car came with the usual brakes and they just do not fit this car. The vehicle is so strong and stable and you use the brakes very hard and they just do not fit this vehicle and twice they have warmed up a lot. I am now checking to replace the regular brakes with carbon brakes.
