    Does anyone know how to set the timing for the 24 valve Ghibli GT V6?
    I have replaced the timing belt, hydraulic tensioner and bearings.
    Does anyone know which cylinder is number 1 and which markings on the pulleys are set to the indent on the housing which the timing is set from?

    This is not such a simple question. Don't rotate anything until you get better informed.
    I suggest a trip over to the Biturbozentrum Yahoo Groups website where there is plenty of help. There are a couple of online freebie copies of the service manuals available for the V6 24V engine. Enrico's website is one and here is another Maserati Quattroporte unofficial website.
