Who's car is this, and where was that show? Has the car had a total restoration? This car is sn 0139, mine is 0167 we're just 14 cars off.. This is the color I was planning to painting 0167.....looks really good!... I have since decided to change to a different color. to bad... Really great looking car...
Read the thread. Blake was so smitten by this car when he saw it he actually traded another just completed car (Sebring?) for this one. Keith Dooley managed the restoration of it. It was painted in Italy.
Hey Jon, What color are you going to paint it? I'm driving down this next week to drop my Ferrari off to the that engine guy I use who a block away from your car if I could try and get a peak?
Did Mr. Stevenson own this car when these photos were taken? I'm sorry, I do not know Mr. Keith Dooley, where is his shop? or where does he work? You say the car was painted in Italy? do you have information as to who did the interior work? I am interested in the work done to the car..... I note, while the photos are a bit fuzzy on details, what looks like, the chrome water shields in the air intake ports on the cowl. I have seen that detail on only one other SII Sebring..... That car was restored by Epifani Restorations and sold a few years back through Fantasy Juction.. Considering our 2 Sebrings are 14 cars apart, its funny to note his windshield wipers both lay to the passenger side while mine both lay to the center i.e. on top of each other... I am still interested to know what show the car showed at in these pics
It's on the windshield photo for the latest showing. I saw it at his house 2 years ago and last summer in Greenwich. It was also on display at Le Belle Machinne de "Whatever" last June as well. It's probably been at Amelia Island as well. AFAIK he still owns it. Sorry I don't have a number for Keith, perhaps someone else does? He's well know in these parts for his work on these sorts of cars. Again, Blake traded for this car and it was turnkey. Dooley is the guy I think you want to speak with.
