Ferrari have announced a change to their test schedule, giving Felipe Massa the driving duties on two of three days that will be spent this coming week at Valencia.

Having launched their 2010 car, the F10, it Italy on Thursday, Ferrari had intended for Massa to conduct a shakedown of the new car, coinciding with promotional filming for the Scuderia.

However, chilly weather conditions meant the Brazilian was unable to venture out on track as the Fiorano circuit was covered in a layer of ice. Plans to then conduct the shakedown on Friday were also put on hold due to the conditions.

As a result, Ferrari's first run in their new car was pushed back to Monday, the first day of pre-season testing with Massa scheduled to have the honour of putting the first laps on the F10 while his new team-mate Fernando Alonso would be in action on days two and three.

Ferrari, though, have now announced that Massa will in fact take the first two days as the Brazilian is into a position to "provide immediate and detailed feedback in terms of a comparison between the F10 and the F60."
