huh? Massa was always religated to #2, and I think he has done his job pretty darn well over the years. Kimi, FA and some others continue to shoot their mouths off more than Massa ever has....

Ferrari has been very openly (and bitingly) critical of the new teams. It is no secret the way they feel.
I remember reading something a while back about Barichello saying that Ferrari tells their drivers what to say to the media...........i think this is a prime example of that.

Ermm Well if that is the case, IMO Massa should shut up, overtaking is not his best asset.

And that is highlighting the fact that he will need to do it.

Mosley is to blame for the new team crap selection process, however new teams are needed, and have to start somewhere slow or not.

Saw that earlier today and if that's what this thread is about, I will have to side with Massa.

Unless the new teams can be on a relative pace, they should not be on the track with the others. An F1 track is challenging enough as is, they don't need to make it into a moving obstacle course. With so many new teams and so little testing time, FIA needs to bring back either the 107% rule or pre-qualifying. IMO, its great to have new teams in F1, but it needs to be done in the right way.

I've always felt that part of the skill of a top racing driver is dealing with back markers.
The F1 boys want it all so easy, they'd never cope racing at Le Mans with all the different classes!.

To be fair to Schumacher, he was very clever when it came to slower drivers. In qualifying, if he was on a warm up lap and one of the slower runners was on a fast lap coming up behind him, he made sure he was out of their way in plenty of time. Come the race, if they knew it was Schumacher coming up to lap them, they'd repay him in kind and get out of his way. Other drivers who had not got out of the way in qualifying were held up for as long as possible.

    +1.

Had all the teams been allowed to go testing properly, this wouldn't be the case. I'd also like to see the 107% rule back now, There's no reason not to have it (IIRC it was removed due to the new qualifying format, with 1 car on track at the maximum, and weather conditions + extra rubber could greatly vary the times over the hour).

+1 He will need more talent than he has to keep sight of Alonso, never mind trying to pass a lotus.

In testing the new teams that have tested will probably be in 107%
