First SLR i've seen with rims on it actually. Before everyone else chimes in, it would look better in the Jean Todt 599 color.

Edit: First picture makes the front wheel look like it has negative camber.

    Mat Black is so underrated.

Hell, even the most hardcore retro original rat racers would appreciate an exotic in this color.

Guess I'm not one of those, then. I associate matte finishes with old neglected cars.

Trying imagine a gloss black SLR parked next to it... tell ya, it sucks being on the cusp of pre-middle-age.

The windmill (or Turbine) wheels are AFAIK actually optional. I think these are the standard.

As to the matte SLR - its just stunning, this colour has been my favourite for quite some time. Saw pics of it earlier but thought it was a PShop. Guess not :) Any higher res perhaps?

I think you may be wrong on that one, the matte black one is a 722 edition thus the different rims. They are standard for the 722 and the turbine wheels are stock SLR.

It's just something about the 722, I like. I don't like that other cars even the 599 doesn't look right. I think with black rims the 5999 would look better it throws to much of a contract into the picture.

You have been misunderstood, I thought the 722 had the windmill type, and not those black 722 rims. He was explaining to me that the windmill type wheels are optional while those SL looking wheels are stock.
