    Time for me to turn in my new F430 order. I’ve been wrestling around with the idea of doing matte black as the custom color choice. I absolutely love what Novitec did with "TuNero" F430 http://www.carsandtuning.org/novitec-tunero-f430/ as well as what Mansory did with the "Conquistador" Phantom http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/top-2007-Mansory-Conquistador-based-on-Rolls-Royce-Phantom.htm

    I'd like some customization feedback on a matte black F430 (interior, stitching, brake pad color, carbon fiber, black out lights, wheels, etc.)

    I've pretty much "built" the car online but would like to hear some fresh ideas on how the ferrarichat community would do it.

    My current F430 is "blacked out" as much as possible, so I obviously like the steal look and that is what I'm aiming for on the new car.

    after having seen several matte black porsches in the fall, i was in love, i think you should go for it. i just don't what one should expect for price, i have heard $10k

    the factory will not paint a car matte black, as of yet. best case is you take it to zanetti, but still, even at a charge, it isn't available

    Seriously?...I thought you could submit a paint sample or color number and they would fulfill request. I guess I need to make a call to my dealership and get a straight answer before I try and submit my order. Thanks for the heads up.

    Most of the so called matt black cars you've seen on the net are actually not painted matt black. A colored foil has been applied over the original paint to give it this effect. Fairly costly however, you always have the option of removing it.
