    I have the 1:18 F1 Ferraris from the last few years (back to 1998). Every year there is a "launch" car (sometimes called "Premier" car), then the regular release or "race" version.

    Mattel did this from 2000-2003, and Minichamps used to do it for their 1:43 and sometimes 1:18.

    So, the question is, the 2004 "race" version is being released, but no mention of a 2004 "launch" version. A few dealers I talked to do not know of one, but do not a definite answer. There were the F1-2004 GP Bahrain 2004 King of the Desert, F1-2004 GP Barcelona 2004 75th victory in his 200th GP, and F1-2004 Schumacher Simply the Best 7 Times World Champion, but nothing called "launch" or "premier".

    Anyone seen, heard, or know of one?

    I have an F2004... and it's not the Bahrain, Bacelona, or the simply the best car... it just says F2004 Michael Schumacher on the stand it comes on... here's a pic of the car for reference...

    (on a side note: it appears as tho my F2004 is an "error" car, as the center lugs are red and blue... should both be red on the left side of the car...)

    That's the one I have. Just the standard 2004 Race edition. I haven't seen any marked as 2004 launch or premier as in previous years.

    I have the little Enzo's, there are pretty cool. I have a few other ferraris but I dont know what models they are. Maybe its time I figure how to set up my web cam..hmm
