Finally they are re releasing the 288 GTO. I was also thinking of buying another F40 so this will work out well. Maybe another Enzo and definately another FXX. This is gonna be expensive.

60 replies so far... and no one has exclamed about the "Les Creations Uniques"

that's a dream come true for me ; being able to buy a scalemodel of "the breadvan"
I can't wait to get my hands on a Breadvan

P.S. who needs another F40 or those predictable easy to find Ferraris when you can get a rare 456 Brunei Station Wagon or Cabrio.

even tho still waiting for the 2+2 series ... 400, 412 etc.

I would *really* like to see a pic (or two or three) of the FXX Elite model. The pic in that link of the regular Enzo isn't very impressive...nor is the GTO...

Yeah... The silver paint + bright lighting + so-so focus of the image don't exactly inspire confidence in this new $70 line, but a 1/18 FXX is a 1/18 FXX. That said, however - I think they really F'd it up. It looks horendous. My eyes keep getting drawn to the monster-truck tires, and the wheelbase just looks too short, like it's "squashed" or something... <Sigh> - disappointed.

In a way, if the models aren't "all that", it'll actually save me money. I was *planning* on buying 1 version (or, color) of each Elite model that was released. Some, however, would be dupes of models that I already have in 1/18, specifically the 288GTO, F40, and Enzo. Right off the bat, that's a savings of $210 + tax (or s/h) - a CMC! Come to think of it, that's a MUCH better plan IMO.

From what I've seen I think the 'Elite' range is a rip off. They're just the same models as the normal Mattel range with the window surrounds painted matt black. The F40 still has the rear wing 'bolted' on to the rear deck so there's still the visible seem between it and the main body. The wheels don't have the split pin detail. If Kyosho or Autoart did them they would be worth the money. The Enzo still has the wrong wheel/tyre size so I think I'll save up and go for the BBR version!

For Enzo, I would buy the Dark Navy Blue Enzo by BBR (if it would release some time later....)

Yes, I'm interested too... Although the 430 Challenge wouldn't be as special as the GTC, I'd like to see both.

Hi, I have a question... is it possible to buy a Superamerica NON elite version? For example, I can buy a F40 "normal hot wheels" and "elite" version. Is it possible with another cars too??

thanks!! and very good notice new models!!

    Regards,

    Enrique.
