Threre's no doubt thats a very nice model but I don't think its worth anything near $340, if I were to put a price on that i'd say closer to $80 since that is made up of a couple dollars of plastic and metal.

I didn't buy it (yet) but I did a side by side comparison of the Elite FXX and the Super Elite FXX and have to say that the Super Elite version is quite a bit different and better. The brake disks are photoetched as are the bonnet clips. The wheels (apart from being black) have photo-etched emplems in the centres and altogether it looks excellent. The fact that it is now upto normal Autoart quality is something that Matell should be congratulated for. However, Autoart ask for £40 - £50 for a model and Matell wants £189 the FXX and I don't know if I can bring myself to pay that. Please don't tell me that they're going to do a Super Elite version of all the Ferraris! The Elite range should be as good as the Super Elite range to start with.
