    Like most people here, I have several of both (and you will too eventually :)).

    IMHO, Mattel has better attention to detail, but I find Mattel's build quality is hit and miss.

    One day (I hope) we'll all have an Exoto F40 (their F40LM is due soon I think).

    I have to say that it would be Mattel with the F40, but when it comes to the F50, it is clearly Burago.

    IN MY OPINION:
    F40 the best one is MATTEL
    F50 the best one is BURAGO...

    thanks. I really don't like my mattel/hot wheels f50. I'm looking to get rid of it and wait for the exoto f50. Then again, i may wait for the exoto f40 too...
