If they show Lucas Oil Drag Boat racing, watch for me... MAV was recording everything this year. I've been working the Pit In ramp for a few years, helping the boats into the water and swimming out to retrieve them and que them for loading back onto the trailer when they blow up near the starting line... I plan on entering a River Racer bracket class drag boat next season, if I find the right one that doesn't need massive work. Better to find one that's already been built. My favorite names for drag boats... "Alcohol Dependent" "Wife Eliminator" (a buddy of mine's) and the one that flipped my switch... "Beats Watchin'"
FD, Fox Sports (219 on DIRECT TV) is airing the San Angelo race, are you gonna be there? I dig the s**t out of drag boats.
I wish that channel was in HD. My eyes have adjusted to HD and anything else just makes me uncomfortable.
