Dosen't he look like Charlton Heston? Who just happended to have died last week. He was Moses. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Images of Hogan's Heros and the phoney German accents keep coming up in my mind. And giving me the giggles.
He has megalomania syndrome. He thinks he is infallible and that he is above everyone else. He has no concept of the fact that he is already done. It's 3 weeks until the next GP. I predict he will be gone before then. I bet he considers this upcoming special FIA meeting to be his chance to lay down the law to his underlings. In reality, I bet he will be counseled that he is either going to announce his resignation or he will be forcefully voted out. And I bet he will choose the latter, which will just be GREAT!
+1 - And there's the rub - Many of these "delegates" owe their career to this lunatic, and we already know "he can lie with more conviction than when he's telling the truth". OTOH, I don't see how any delegate could possibly return to his/her (are there any women in there?) ASN after voting "for" the looney. So, I'm with you - Hopefully he doesn't resign but gets tossed in the most spectacular, public and humiliating fashion Cheers, Ian
I thought the tide would have turned more quickly after the crown prince of Bahrain told Mosley he was unwanted at this weekends race. It is clear to everyone except the intellectually challenged that what Mosley has done is absolutely beyond the pale for a man in his position. I think he won't last the week.
Thank's Pete I'am not saying I like the way it has been done, I agree with you on that, but he has had such a strangle hold on F1 with Bernie on side he has been untouchable, but there is alway's someone bigger, and my guess is he has upset them. Like Andreas said, Live by the sword die by it..
Lest we get too serious about all this: http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080407/SPORTS16/804070325/1048/sports
Stoddart weighs in, supports Mosley. No, not really... http://www.duemotori.com/news/f1/24582_Paul_Stoddart_wants_Mosley_exit_and_F1_return.php
More proof that Max has got the attention of people who never heard of F1 before: http://www.columbiatribune.com/2008/Apr/20080406Spor006.asp Columbia, Missouri is reporting on Max. This can only be good for the image of F1 and its paricipants and sponsors, right?
This is a great quote: "Ecclestone is in daily contact with Mosley's London bunker. After the latest disclosures Ecclestone was back on the blower yesterday morning to test the temperature. He was told there was no change in Mosley's position. Rome burns while Max thinks he still has a position to defend." This story is starting to get old. Max must go--but it is fun basking in his misery. I know, I know--I should not feel that way, but it is an honest statement. We humans are dark, sick beinigs.
Madness schmadness. How is it that the actions committed by this billionaire are portrayed as "madness", if done by the pedestrian rich are "eccentric" and if by the proletariat you're just an arsehole?
"We humans are dark, sick beings." hmmm..... sounds not unlike how many people describe Max Mosley and his behavior. I wonder how some of us here would behave if we were filthy, stinking rich and powerful. Not making any excuses for him but I think boredom comes easily to those that can have virtually anything in the world they want.
That would depend on your own personal moral's, however I would consider my position in said world, ie would my business consist of courting big money and representing a head of a world wide sport.
