    My father owns a 2000 550 Maranello and he asked me to find the maximum speed in MPH per gear; for example 75MPH in 2nd gear before hitting redline/rev limiter. I've spent the past few hours searching for the info, but have come up empty.

    So would anyone be able to tell me the max speed per gear please? It would be very much appreciated.

    Speeds in gear in kmh from datalogger 75, 109, 152, 204, 244, ??? never vmaxed in 6th.

    It should be in the manual, but from memory / experience:

    1st: 40
    2nd: 63ish
    3: 90
    40: 120
    5: 165
    6: never v-maxed but 180 indicated was ~6800
