Hey Steve, Barring loss of license or similar tragedy, I'll be there! Thanks for hosting!! I assume that your car is still there at KTR so you can participate, right? If not, I'm sure we can find someone here that would be kind enough to drive you out there in your car. (It would be a tough job, but someone would do it). Best, Birdman
Birdman, Thanks for the well wishes and look forward to seeing you there. The car is there now and should be here on Friday or early next week. Will then begin the racing seat/harness project. And yes, will be there for the Dyno day too
Speaking of dynos, there's a good article in the May C&D on the variables that can affect the numbers. Especially on the newer 'smarter' cars being produced these days. I guess my old rickety 85 won't suffer from some the variables mentioned. Interesting reading. Kenny K.
Kenny, Yeah, it is indeed an interesting article. And yes, those of us without such Tron-like MCP to deal with need not worry. Add to that no interfering ABS, traction control, active adaptive suspension, etc. The PURITY or diving
Hey Steve, I have been lurking on FChat for a while. I was thinking of coming to KTR to check out the action and meet some of the other NE owners. What do you think would be the best time to visit? --Chris
Hi Chris, If ya wanna fill your ears with some honkin' F-cars and such and fill your belly while you're at it, it's pretty much from when you get there til when you leave Be there or be square Kenny K
Please allow me to thank Kenny K for providing us with a wonderful lunch during the event on Saturday. Kenny, the wonderfully gracious man that he is, volunteered this on his own. MANY thanks Kenny!!!
Steven, Grant's parts didn't come in, so we won't be bringing his Rx7 after all. You can tell some one on the waiting list they got lucky...
Hey Steve, Sorry I left without saying thanks - my wife called so I had to leave. Watching/hearing that Lambo on the dyno was very cool. --Chris
Chris, Thank YOU for coming and glad to meet up with everyone. Wonderful day, great weather, awesome friends Vita bella!
