May 12th, Central Florida Photoshoot/Cruise

Saturday May 12th, I'm hosting a Photoshoot/Cruise in the Orlando, Daytona, New Smyrna area, Sponsored by Hooters Daytona Beach.

Locations:

Standard Parking's Parking Garage off of Boone Ave across from the Orlando City Hall. I'm thinking 9 or 10 am. (Please give me your thoughts on the starting time) There are some nice shots up there, I went up there about 9 days ago. Very nice shots.

Cruise through historic Orlando/Winter Park.

We will pick up I-4 around Lee Road possibly and cruise to the Daytona Beach Hooters location across from the Speedway. (Participants of the parking garage shoot will get a map of the route.) We should arrive around 12:30 or so and be there until we choose to leave.

Cruise to Tuscawilla Park on the corner of Nova and 92. (Not sure on the time, because of the New Smyrna show, this one might be knocked out.)

Cruise to the New Smyrna Monthly Car Show on Canal Street. (I believe the show starts at 5:00, and I would like to get there a little early in order for us to get parking near each other.)

I only have a limited amount of people that will be able to go to the parking garage, so the spaces will be on a first come, first serve basis. We will have the entire garage to ourselves (BE CAREFUL, THERE ARE VIDEO CAMERA'S SO PLEASE DON'T ACT STUPID) since it is mainly used for people going to City Hall, and they are opening it specifically for us. Also, we will only have a five minute window to get you through the gate, so if your late, than you can't come up.

So with all of that said, may I have a show of hands for people that will be able to make it? I only need a specific count for the Parking Garage.

Third location is the new Smyrna Monthly car show which typical pulls about 400 cars or so. It is on Canal Street in New Smyrna.

From the parking garage to Daytona (Including the Winter Park cruise) will be approximately 70 miles. We will be leaving the Hooters and going down New Smyrna by way of Interstate 95, so estimated that will be 15 or 20 miles.

 

I just got confirmation that the gates will be open from 8:30 am until 9:05 am. South street entrance will be closed, but Boone entrance is open. Please assemble on the bottom floor near the gate so I can go over somethings before going up to the top floors.

I should be there around 8:40 am or so.

 

I have about 20 cars going to the garage and cruise afterward. Not sure on how many people will be going to Hooters. I have a few (maybe's).

So yes, feel free to come over to the garage. I used to have a 2000 White Mustang, so your more than welcome to come out. And I don't mind if your friend goes. Multiple people are bringing friends along.

 

Yes, your more than welcome. I think I actually met you at the March Cars and Coffee in Heathrow. Your more than welcome. I have the red 98 Chevy Camaro Z28 that was there.
