I signed up. Don't think I will be going to the Indy 500, so this show sounds interesting.

"Probably" isn't a promise, silly goose! When I say I'm gonna be somewhere, I'm there. For instance, the karting event.. I was 1 1/2 hrs late and didn't get to race, but I came at the last minute!! I'm a woman of my word. :D

On edit: If it's the same day as Indy I don't know if I'll be able to make it. We'll see.

Why would someone pay to put a car in the show???? Isn't bringing your car to someone's show helping them out?????

maybe I am too darn stupid. Howmuch is the fee and howmuch will it go up.

It is kind of interesting that a new club starts out with a carshow and is asking for a fee to display. Is there a charity involved that gets all the money? That is how we roll in SSF.

I've always had the same thought about car shows that aren't to benefit a worthy cause; let me pay you to use my car to make the Casino money? I give those bastards $20 cover to get into the night club once or twice a month already since it's the only one in Tampa open past 3 AM, that's enough for them. :)

$50 currently; I had to click the pay by paypal link to find it. No mention of a charity. I was interested in their HPDE stuff on the site since they have Sebring listed but no mention of pricing or availability on those either.

$50? I thought I saw $15, and then it goes up to $20.

Every car show I have gone to, charity or not, charges $15-$20 to enter. That pays for all the trophies that you do not get. But the shows can be fun.

If it is $50, then I just lost interest. That friends, is a rip off.

Members of DCI, what gives? This is not a normal entry fee, especially for a commercial event. This now becomes an absurdity, and is the best way for a new group to lose credibility.

Agreed... I considered it for $20, but not for $50. Need a charitable beneficiary to justify that level of entry fee.
