    My 2018 SF has lost its anchors to lock the car mats and it has been annoying me to have the mats shifting with driving and entering/exiting. I tried to replace the anchors but the opening in carpet has gotten. Offer and they simply won’t secure the anchors.


    I asked the dealer who suggested an aftermarket solution but since my car is under warranty they have offered to replace the carpets. And apparently there are updated anchors.

    Car has been at dealer for this silliness for four weeks.

    Have others experienced anything similar ? Or do others not care about such things ?

    I would surely care about such an annoyance, but 4 weeks at the dealership for this would drive me insane. I would probably buy a proper aftermarket solution while they wait for the parts to get in. Then you can keep using the aftermarket solution if it's better than OEM, and keep the OEM spares for resale.

    The new anchors are in the GTS. My service person said the original anchors were just wrong. I bought a replacement set (original) and they didn’t even fit as the carpet hole expanded.

    I’ll post the part number shortly for future searches. Works beautifully.
