Maybach vs RR Phantom==

I WOULD CHOOSE RR PHANTOM ON EXTERIOR LOOKS ...MAYBACH ON INTERIOR

The Maybach is simply hideous, imo.

Whichever company owns RR these days did a great design job with the Phantom!

I like the looks of both of them. If I was going to be driven around I think I would rather the Maybach. I like the interior of it much better than the RR.

 

Given the choice, I would take the Phantom. Now who wants to give me the choice?

 

Having driven both, I would probably go for the RR. The Maybach is incredible inside, but it lacks the distinctive qualities of a Rolls. The Rolls also looks SO much better as far as the exterior is concerned. The Maybach simply looks like an oversized S-class.

 

The Maybach is just a really nice Mercedes. The Rolls Royce is a Rolls Royce. Enough said. RR all the way.

Maybach is just another Lexus, and even Lexus has a better quality than a Merc.

 

I'd take the Maybach simply because I'd rather fly under the radar.. The really hot ticket would be a standard S Class with the Maybach interior & drivetrain.

I just spent the weekend in Edmonton in my 1984 RR Silver Spur.....it's a 20 year old car......but it still got the looks and stopped traffic as well as the people in the street. The hotel even gave me a special parking spot underground in the employee section.....when all the registered guests had to park outside.

I doubt the Maybach would have received the same level of respect as a brand new $400K car....as that which was accorded my $40K RR. I've seen the Maybach in person and it did nothing for me whatsoever, except to remind me that the smart MB owner buys an S600/S65 and banks the difference. After all....despite no amount of protestations to the otherwise from Maybach salesmen.....they're nearly the same car IMHO in many respects.


Make my Phantom gloss black with a pimpin' lipstick red leather interior.

 

If I were to be driven around in, I would take the Rolls Royce, its got suicide doors, umbrellas inside the doors, all that good stuff. I would take ethier Silver, or Black. Then put some nicer rims.

 

Exactly how I feel.

 

Give me a back RR with tan leather and black wheels over the Merc.

I actually hate those rims. The normal rims look better. I don't get why anyone would want to change the rims on any car

 

Not those kind! Something that looks like HREs. BTW, I think those rims you showed are made by Giovanna, I think it was in one of their DuPont ads. Some other company had black wheels on a black CGT, looked awesome.

 

Yes, those wouldnt be my choice rim either, i just posted that to get the point across

Because:

A - they weigh to much i.e. the Mini Cooper

B - They are butt ugly i.e. Chrysler 300, Rolls Royce Phantom, Lexus SC 430

Allright, I found I rim I like...and the who I would like to pick me up everyday in the RR (limo or not; I wouldnt be too picky )
