    Hi folks,

I am entertaining a job offer in San Diego and one of my concerns is automobile taxes, registration fees, insurance, etc. Could somebody give me a quick summary of what it's going to cost to register my 95 F355?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sure:

As far as I know, SD has no type of "tax" for a car like yours. All you have to do is pay your California DMV fees (I have no clue what those would be on a F355, AS-The Govenator- just recently lowered the DMV fees that Davis raised to cover the budget gap). Dido for insurance (I would just stay with who you have right now if you are getting a good rate if there is a cause in your contract that will allow you to do such).

SD however, would be a fantastic city to own such a nice car in. The streets are well maintained, the traffic is not that "bad" and the majority of people drive in a "nice" manner.

If anything, check out the California DMV website, it might be able to answer some of your questions.
