    This is one of the two so called "mules" or early 288 GTOs. I think they want $1.6m for it. It's been for sale for a long time. I'm always a little cautious of these "extra" cars. The GTO has all the makings of a great collector car but the two elements that will always hurt the car - the close appearance to the common 308 and the fact that it never raced. Most Ferrari mechanics love the 288 GTO and consider it the ultimate Ferrari.
