Hi MC-12 spotters, here comes s/n 29627. The 3rd "Corsa" in Germany and 4th car build is owned by Franz Aigner from Munich/Germany. to be honest - I didn`t take any pictures of it during the event! It was #5054. I brokered the car from the first owner who bought it in 1972 and kept it until 2005 still with its original paint to a very good friend of mine in Germany. Here is a photo I took of the car in April this year. Ciao! Walter Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great pics, beautifull MC12 Corsa. Can you post the pics in a thread called "Official MC-12 Picture Thread" Thanks, Brian
No! The thread you mention has too many "awsome pics"- etc- comments and no significant information about those great cars. This -new- thread gives ownership and VIN of a particular MC12! And even when Bob S. doesn`t understand why VIN`s of those cars are more important than the "great pics"-comments (his question "why" tells everything...!) - the VIN is important! They are significant as the MC12 is a very important car in the history of Maserati! Future will tell.......! Ciao! Walter
I'm half German so I guess I understand your natural tendencies for a dossier on every car and owner for yourself. A lot of owners would prefer otherwise. Not everyone wants the entire world to know which serial number they have, when they bought it etc. So when an owner is gracious enough to let one look at, photograph and ride in a car I respect their wishes. Other than for the compilation of your personal database I don't see the need for this. If the owner wants to participate then I think that's great and quite helpful. Doing it without persmission is what I find objectionable. I've seen 15 or so of these go through Classic Coach in NJ and they asked that I not do what you request. That was enough for me. Bob S.
Argh, lucky you! All I could do was stand and watch in amazement.. some of my pics of the MC12C (the rest, thanks to my wonderful camera, are out of focus ). Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
